fuck you and all we've been through...
I've been meaning to do an all-thinky post about, oh, my view on the Lily/Severus business, some thoughts on plot in relation to [info]minisinoo's post, Severus & the Marauders, Bill and Charlie... or simply talking about my newly revealed fest fics.

But sometimes RL gets in the way. In the form of ice on the pavement. Trying to walk on ice on the pavement can end badly. Like, you falling on your tailbone so hard you think you might consider going to the emergency room, because OW!!! does not even begin to cover it. Of course I could not be bothered to go to the ER, instead spent half the day working with the horses and the other half in bed, and I went to work today and did not go to the doctor again, which, possibly not very intelligent. Because:

OW.

And my horoscope for 2008 said I'd have a superb year. Somehow I don't really see that yet >.>

/whining

ETA: Actually I posted not because I wanted to whine at y'all but because I wanted to pimp [info]less_for_you, a Lily/Severus exchange that's taking sign-ups now. Do me a favour and sign-up for some manipulative non-weak angry revenge!Lily/Severus, yes? Because that's the kind I adore.

Hi there, how are you? Your ice-on-pavement incident sounds nasty, I hope you're alright?
Anyways, wanted to ask whether you'd like to come clubbing with Arvid, me and possibly some others tomorrow? We thought of "Berlin tanzt" in the Knaack. Let me know if you want to come ^^
Apart from that, let me know when you're free for catch ups and stuff ;) My schedule is insanely busy right now with revision, but I will find some gaps somewhere, somehow ...
*huggles*

It's getting better and nothing's broken, but you did not want to see (or hear...) me move the first three days or so. Not. Fun. So clubbing is, unfortunately, very much out of the question for me right now *sigh* As much as I'd love to join you, my body just doesn't allow it. Stupid tailbone! *glares*

Maybe you'll have an evening free next week? It's the first week with the kids back, so I'll definitely have lots of need for alcohol... ^_^

*hugs back*

Oh dear, that does sound pretty horrible *hugs carefully* Too bad you can't join us ... but Arvid and I are definitely planning on doing this more frequently, so I'm sure there'll be loads of possiblities :)

Ah, I understand. Actually, me too. Need lots of alcohol, I mean. Time's rushing towards end of semester and seriously, there's so much to do, I'll go crazy without some time off. Looking at my timetable and my planner (sigh), I see next Wednesday would be best suited for a meeting :) You okay with that? 7pm in 'the Sonntag'? I could do Tuesday as well, but Wednesday is best.

Hmmm, I'll have to ask Karo whether we're going to the Surfpoeten in the (:D) Ballhaus Ost or not... So for me Tue would probably be better, but I'm gonna ask her as soon as I can (tomorrow?) and let you know ASAP, if that's alright with you?

Have fun clubbing!

Surfpoeten? I'm wrecking my mind here to find out whether I'm supposed to know them, but I'm afraid I'm not getting any response from my memory :(
That's perfectly alright, of course ^^ I just need to get up really early on Wednesday, but who cares ^^

Haha, you'll be glad to know we didn't go clubbing after all, so you haven't missed anything :) Arvid got a call from a mutual friend who was celebrating his birthday more or less spontaneously, so we went there instead.

yeah, but it was synchronised ice-skating. and nationals being in Australia. so every time there were only like...6 teams?? i think. lol. so, coming 4ths and 5ths was good but not as good as you're probably thinking. hahaha. it just sounds nice to say "oh yes, i've been to nationals!" lol. it was fun all the same. we got gold and silver medals all the time at state level. that sounds much better. though there were prob only 3-4 teams participating.

and this was all when i was 12,13,and 14 yrs old. so not anymore. i'd love to but waaaaaaay to expensive.

I hear ya - I've been doing horseback riding for way too many years to count, and I've never had the money to buy my own horse. I'm just riding this horse for a year, then it gets sold/goes to another stable and I ride another horse for a year... That way you learn a lot, but competition-wise you never really get far. Sometimes it can be rather frustrating if I think I've finally had a breakthrough with the horse and then some stupid owner who doesn't know how to handle him/her takes the horse away. WAH.

Still, what you've done is amazing! Which reminds me of an ice-skating Snupin AU... Man, in this fandom you can really find ANYTHING *g*

irish dancing
netball
swimming (squads - comp)
ice-skating
tennis
i've had gym membership
piano
flute
violin
singing
basketball
european handball
volleyball
badminton
yoga
and there's probably something i'm forgetting. lol.
i could never decide which one to stick with coz i wanted them all!

The ice-skating Snupin is Compulsion by [info]arionrhod, somewhat longish. It's brilliant :)

I've played the keyboard and piano, and I've done some volleyball, that's about it for me. The horses are time-consuming and they always remained first priority - to the point that when I was 14 and had been playing the piano for more than 10 years I gave it up, which now makes me go a little "Meh". But well, I don't see me going back to it.

You've tried an impressive list of activities! :o Though I definitely hear ya about testing it all. But I never even get as far as actually trying out all those sports, heh.

lol. whenever i had one that i wanted to keep, it would become too expensive to continue. so i was forever trying out activities, hoping to find something i'd want to keep.
