Man, re-writing a story from second person POV into third person POV is a bitch. Is it my fault it sounds better in second person - or that it's ghosting around in my head as second person? *sigh* But it needed to be done, and since I haven't written anything in quite some time (read: 10 days or so), I'm thinking editing is the right thing to get back into the groove.

ALSO! [info]hp_wankfest reveals tomorrow! EEEEH! *is excited*

On a Euro 2008 related note: Yes, Germany lost against Croatia. 1:2. Who would have thought? *is deeply dissatisfied*

*goes back to half-silence*

Meh! If it sounds better in second person, write it in second person. Granted, me aside, most people won't read it, but... There's way too little second person out there, dammit!

I agree, there's way too little second person POV out there! I would continue it in second person if it weren't for the fact that I'm trying to do something with my narrative. It's just - second person requires something completely different from what third person does, you know? I've written second person before and I do love it very very much, but this fic is easily going to come up to 10K plus, and I'm thinking it would be a good chance to work on my narrative. Meh :(

I know ;). I just have mad love for second person and not remotely enough opportunities to indulge. But admittedly, third is better for narrative longfic...

See, I totally would ask you for a prompt to indulge your mad love, but I know I wouldn't get to it soo enough (or at all). Stupid RL :(

Ugh, sounds pretty horrible. The part I don't understand is why you're doing it, because in my experience, if a story wants to be written in 2nd person, it should be. Awww, 2nd person. Reminds me of that novel project of mine. I should get back to it asap.

*we will get through anyway we will get through anyway we will get throughanywaywewillgetthrough ...* See you on Monday round about 8.30 pm? ^^

Ah, I wouldn't be doing it if the story wasn't as long as it's going to be - 3K, 4K, 5K? Yeah sure, c'mon, second person! 10K+? Ah, maybe not so good, then. Besides, as I said above, I'm currently working on my narrative, and I can't do that when I write in second person. :/

I now feel the need to write something short in second person, heh. *fights feeling*

YES Monday Monday MONDAY!!!

I don't see the problem XD I mean, I've written 27k of 2nd person POV and it works just fine, and it'd continue to work if only I got a grip on myself to finish this.
Working on your narrative? How so? Sounds interesting :)

GOOOO GERMANYYYYY!!! *bounces*

I call what I'm currently trying to do making a story a process instead of moments in time.

ALSO: TALK TO ME ABOUT CZECH REPUBLIC - TURKEY OMFG I ONLY CAUGHT THE LAST TWENTY MINUTES AND I'M STILL GOBSMACKED AND FLABBERGASTED AND WHATEVER ELSE

Ah, I get it. Sounds interesting :D I totally need to start writing again, but nothing works ...

OMG TELL ME ABOUT IT I WAS COMPLETELY OMFG ABOUT IT!! *flails* IF only they had got to the penalties, they'd totally pwned Turkey, what with no goalkeeper and everything and just GAAAAAAAH! I'm NOT HAPPY about this! I soooo wanted the Czech Republic to go through and they so deserved it and just ... GAAAAAAAAAAAAH! (Typischer Fall von 'Es ist Zeit, schreiend im Kreis zu laufen')
