Wow, that storm that's been hovering over south Great Britain and north France arrived here - it's been storming nicely outside for the entire day. Eep! I hate wind.

In other news, nothing is happening. Not that that's any different from usual >.> Public transportation is still on strike, but at least the worst didn't happen - S-Bahn is not on strike. Which means I can get to work with only roughly twenty minutes lateness. Which doesn't exactly make me a happy bunny, but what can you do?

Boy am I ever glad this week is over.

We had:

- 1 almost-emotional break-down
- 1 strike of public transportation, resulting in my having to take a day off work
- 1 team meeting where I was told I'd get more tasks to do
- 2 days of having to deal with the kids mostly by myself, which, exhausting
- 1 phone call where my riding trainer told me I could not ride my pretty boy Peppo after all (what, this sounds vaguely dirty? I promise I'm not into bestiality!). Which now means I don't really have a horse for myself and will have to wait until someone needs a rider for his/her horse on a more permanent basis.
- and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some important things. (Edit: Yes, e.g. the fact that I did not sleep from Sunday to Monday, did not eat most of the day because OMG so much to do and drank way too much coffee. Which resulted in me shaking so badly I thought I'd pass out. What do we learn? There's the point where coffee becomes Too Much Coffee. Ugh.)

In short: do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

On the bright side I have been invited to join erotic_elves. Ha! *claps hands excitedly* Now to decide which of my het fics to post there to make myself known... Eep. Decisions, decisions. Sadly, this is the only good thing to happen to me ALL FUCKING WEEK.

I've been meaning to do an all-thinky post about, oh, my view on the Lily/Severus business, some thoughts on plot in relation to minisinoo's post, Severus & the Marauders, Bill and Charlie... or simply talking about my newly revealed fest fics.

But sometimes RL gets in the way. In the form of ice on the pavement. Trying to walk on ice on the pavement can end badly. Like, you falling on your tailbone so hard you think you might consider going to the emergency room, because OW!!! does not even begin to cover it. Of course I could not be bothered to go to the ER, instead spent half the day working with the horses and the other half in bed, and I went to work today and did not go to the doctor again, which, possibly not very intelligent. And my horoscope for 2008 said I'd have a superb year. Somehow I don't really see that yet >.>
