Contrasts. Narcissa/Severus, not-quite-background Lily/Severus, NC-17, 2,200 words. Severus wasn't what Lily wanted while Lily was everything Severus wanted, and Narcissa wasn't what Severus wanted but she was all he seemed to be allowed to have. This one was a bitch to write, why I don't know, but the fic had me so frustrated for days. Heh.

In other words, I'm feeling kinda blech lately. My aunt was here visiting, which really always makes me withdraw. I don't think I've come out of my room for more than an hour each day all in all this weekend... I'm watching Supernatural and have seen it up to 1.13 now, and I'm reading Supernatural fic and due South fic. More isn't happening right now.

mini_nanowrimo is going well, I've met my word goal of 200 words every day (not that that's too difficult). Well, actually I've written much more than those 200, even though I'm not up to NaNo level yet.

There was ficlet posted in envinyatar_fics a couple of days ago: While It Lasts. Draco/Theodore, PG (or PG-13?), 894 words. They happened to end up this way often lately.


But that's not what I wanted to talk about.

Y'know, reading well-written, emotional, hitting-all-the-right-spots-inside porn while at work? Is strangely erotic. This shiver running down your spine and the smile tugging at your lips (because for once it's happy!porn), all the time knowing that your co-worker sits a mere three meters behind you and could see the blush that's spreading on your face. That's... actually an amazing feeling.

Huh. Exhibitionist tendencies? Didn't know I had any, but then I'm not exactly the most bashful individual, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

What's causing this? My re-reading of The Pilgrim Series by Laurelin , which is an epic LotR story - Legolas/Haldir. And it has some of the most sensual smut I've ever seen. Truly beautiful, that story!

Also, could someone be so kind as to please stop the pornbunnies rushing at me? Watching Supernatural and Heroes and re-watching Due South and reading in all those fandoms made their population grow exponentially, with no ending in sight. *sigh* And that when I'm supposed to finish off snupin_santa and write smutty_claus and work on a zillion other stories, among them my Dezemberträume '07 project for which you can still sign up.

And for all of you who are not up for NaNoWriMo because the 1,667 words average per day that's required to write 50,000 words a month is too much (yay run-on sentences!), why don't you consider signing up for mini_nanowrimo over on LJ? You'll just have to commit to writing at least 100 words each day, which I think is doable! I committed to 200 words, because... y'know, stories to work on *g*
