i don't want you to give it all up...

*long-suffering sigh* This week isn't better than last, is it?

Sectus got cancelled, which really really makes me very sad. I'm not going to Accio 2008 (too expensive; all I'd be able to pay is going to London like lasty year), so I was very much looking forward to summer 2009. I'd have met my dear [info]zebraspots05 *pouts*

Aside from that I'm currently very much worrying about a friend of mine who really is like a little sister to me. She was with distant family for a week and was very unhappy there, lost a lot of weight. Now that she's back she is tired all the time and keeps fainting. Nobody knows whether it's something physical or depression or whatever. She's a very emotional sort of girl, but, unlike me, not prone to heavy depression. I called her this afternoon to check up on her and we wanted to meet up, but she just called me back to cancel. VERY VERY UNLIKE HER. *worries*

In writing news, my [info]wizard_love fic finally is at the point where I can shout BREAK-THROUGH. I kept deleting and adding and rewriting this entire week, but I think now it'll be ready to finally get sent off to the beta tomorrow. *wipes brow* This writing process is rather unlike me, heh.

Supernatural has almost finished downloading. I just hope this episode will be better than last week's.

let's start the riot...

So! Things are looking up. My sickness is almost done with (about time!), I just called my riding trainer and he told me I could go back riding Peppo, which, YAY! I had him placed under my care for a year before I had to (mostly) stop riding at the end of 2006 because of finishing school, and I didn't think I'd get him back. Apparently I do *happydances*

In other news I've been rewatching season 6 of Sex and the City in an attempt not to rewatch all of Supernatural. I realised how much I'd been rooting for the Samantha/Smith storyline and how much I didn't care for the Big/Carrie resolution. Watching it now just makes me go "Meh". Was/am I the only one with that reaction?

Also! I want to read a Harry Potter/Star Wars crossover. Is there anything like that out there?

WTF brain, WTF. Dreamin' about Jensen Ackles!? )

I wish my brain would focus on reality for once. I'm not complaining about the dream, but, y'know, some RL action wouldn't come amiss...

ALSO, the DVD of the third season of due South just arrived at my flat. HAPPINESS. HEAVEN. *goes to watch*

When I'm looking at a 7yo boy dressed up as a female clown in a circus show and thinking "o.o shiny, kinky stuff," there must be something wrong with me.

some sex-related anecdotes from RL )

Also, I've been reading amazing fic in three fandoms (HP, SPN, dS) in my attempt to get my schedule cleared for December (OMG only six days!!!). And SPN RPS is made of luuuurve. Ack. Watch me become poly-fannish *sigh*

Which reminds me: the next SPN ep will air on December 13, y/y? And the one after that, 3.09, on my birthday, January 3??? God. That sucks. (Except for the birthday thing. That certainly doesn't! But, y'know, it only being 2 eps in a month and a half.)

First off, as usual: fic pointers!

Contrasts. Narcissa/Severus, not-quite-background Lily/Severus, NC-17, 2,200 words. Severus wasn't what Lily wanted while Lily was everything Severus wanted, and Narcissa wasn't what Severus wanted but she was all he seemed to be allowed to have. This one was a bitch to write, why I don't know, but the fic had me so frustrated for days. Heh.

Also, there's a ficlet called Price over at [info]envinyatar_fics. Trio gen, 700+ words. Drunk!wizards :D

In other words, I'm feeling kinda blech lately. My aunt was here visiting, which really always makes me withdraw. I don't think I've come out of my room for more than an hour each day all in all this weekend... I'm watching Supernatural and have seen it up to 1.13 now, and I'm reading Supernatural fic and due South fic. More isn't happening right now.

mini_nanowrimo is going well, I've met my word goal of 200 words every day (not that that's too difficult). Well, actually I've written much more than those 200, even though I'm not up to NaNo level yet.

sazzlette is making me watch Supernatural.

And that when I wanted to sleep...!!!

isn't it enough...

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!

I'll be working with an association that mainly has social projects and deals with psychologically ill people. And I'll have the job until next year, which is pretty awesome - especially since I'll have a lot of chances/possibilities there... I can practically choose what I'd like to do and do it. Might also be able to do hippotherapy...! *squee*

Heroes is Very Amazing as usual. The only thing that bugs me is that a lot of you can watch the new episode on Mondays. I only have it on Wednesdays :( Actually Heroes has begun airing on German TV last week, and I watched about a couple of minutes of it and decided it was awful. Funny how just the language can change the perception, no?

Supernatural has also begun airing here. That's one of the shows I'm not following already, and I don't see me doing so in the foreseeable future either. I don't know, the premise doesn't intrigue me that much. I'd probably try to get my hands on it if I weren't downloading due South at the moment, but this way...

Fandom-related: sexy_brilliance's masterlist is up. I'm so happy about this year's fest - it was SO relaxed! I never thought running an exchange could actually be that, though I'm still glad it's over, as it gives me time to finally write.
